If you love KEANE or even if you have never heard of them, you must buy this album. All of their albums are amazing, but they seem to get better. Reminds me a bit of U2 and OneRepublic, but even at times of Queen...Since I bought it I haven't stopped playing it..MAGNIFICENT.. cannot understand why it is not on the best seller list's top 3... it is a perfect 10. FANTASTIC!

This is one of my favourite albums, the whole album is so dynamic yet still rocky which is what i like. I recommend this album to all keane fans and if you haven't been a keane fan before you will after listening to this album. 5 Stars

This cd is incredible i have it in my car and have played it constantly for weeks, every track is great i have recommended it to all my friends and they all agree how good it is. Yes it is at times very 80s sounding, track 3 reminds me of a Sparks kind of song, track 9 Duran Duran, a little Bowie in between. Every track is awesome there best album to date by far. Buy it you will not be dissapointed.

Lyrics, voice, music, style, this album has it all, the best yet and shows that Keane are a top British act like so many others who lead the rock / pop scene.

Some people might scoff at my view, but I am entitled to it and I hear a little bit of Bowie and hint of Queen in this album, I really love it and find it uplifting rather than melon collie as their older stuff. Top group!

Don't get me wrong, I liked Under the Iron sea, but it was just a wee bit dreary and far too much like hopes and fears wasn't it? Well, after a period off and what appears to be some major rethinking, Keane have come back with a stellar performance here.

This album seems to have a slightly electric, almost techno-inspired feel to it, and I have to say the new attempt is very fresh.
The album starts off with techno-fest weirdness "Spiralling", a superb little track, before slowing down to a very thoughtful little number "The lovers are losing". The album follows this all the way throughout and it's all good, despite there only being a few other really standout pieces. "Pretend that you're alone", and "Love is the end", also give me a little reminiscence of some of their work from "Hopes and Fears", and it's nice to see the original style hasn't been completely canned.

All in all, it's an excellent album and a return to form, but those used to the first 2 albums of this group must be prepared for change if you want any enjoyment from it, because it's a whole world different this time!

  Fantastic album!

One of the best albums of 2008. I much preferred this album to Under The Iron Sea. This album is on a par with their debut Hopes And Fears. Not a bad track on the album and some instant classics - highly recommended.

This album is absolutely fab! Its a definate 'feel good' cd and there is not one track on here that I do not like! That has to be said for any Keane track to be honest - they never dissapoint. When listening to Keane some tracks tend to give me goose bumps and the band never fail to dissapoint - one cannot help but want to sing or hum along to there tracks! They have a distinctive sound and I must say I think they are one of the best bands by far!

I would buy this album for the title track alone and thats not to say the other tracks are not good, they are all excellent. But i think Perfect Symmetry is the best song they have ever written. 10 out of 10.
