- Marking the end of a decade of non-activity, Whitesnake's 'Good To Be Bad' is their 11th studio album. It's a typically hard-rocking affair, with band leader David Coverdale delivering unashamedly masculine glam-metal anthems that will delight die-hard fans. As the only original member Coverdale essentially is Whitesnake, but replacement guitarist Doug Aldrich acts as a songwriting collaborator for many of the recordings here. Co-produced by Coverdale, Aldrich and long-time friend of the band Michael McIntyre, 'Good To Be Bad' is exactly what one would expect as a continuation of the Whitesnake legacy, and all the better for it.

What is sistermary on about? Two very negative reviews of a superb album! Cov sounds as good as ever, with the BEST band line up in Whitesnake History. The band are AWESOME with the real star of the CD the Criminally under-rated Doug Aldrich burning the fret board.
Can't speak highly enough of this album.

Its been many a year since the 'Snakes put out an album of this quality.
Its just a shame that the short comings of Coverdales voice are beginning to show through. Not as much as it did on the Restless Heart album, but the rasp has definately lost a bit of its edge. Which is just enough to take away the fifth star.
Otherwise this is a storming return to form that should please a lot of people.
Not sure about the pre-1987 crowd though. They would most likely take off another star or two...
Coverdale is back to his glorious BEST!!!!

The master is back! Stand aside Mr Plant and Co, for a guy who is in his late 50's, Coverdales voice has stood the test of time, and this album is testament to that. With such a tight band of Aldrich and Co behind him, Coverdale delivers the lung busting vocals that make him one of the best male vocalists around. The album has hints of Lizzy and AC/DC on a couple of the tracks, but it totally delivers the Whitesnake mix of bluesy, heavy rock. If this is to be Whitesnakes last studio album, then its one hell of way to go out.
