It takes a few plays to get used to the different style of music produced by Alex Turner, but it grows on you rapidly and now i can't stop playing it. Best CD this year by far!

Its one of my favorites CD's at the moment, it is just one of those that just lift you up & make you feel great, when you listen to it.

This album is one of my favourites at the moment. It is ideal for any fan of the Racals or Arctic Monkeys.

The debut single was thier,by far, greatest hit of the album. It isnt entirely original with the orchestra, metalitca have already done it.
However, these song are terrifically made and lyrically tremendous. the blend of classical vs indie is great. But you have to listen to it a few times before you really apreciate it.

I like this, a good few songs on there. but its not the last shadow puppets, its too much arctic monkeys and not enough rascals. thats my only criticism of the album.

This album has some definatly stunning songs which are must listen too, but some songs are very short and just fell like the artists that Alex Turner and Miles Kane.

The songs that are good on there are brilliant but still quite short. If you are a fan of music then get this because they are quite a different band but don't go making the mistake that they are going to sound anything like the amazing Arctic Monkeys because the music is much different.

110% best thing thing Alex Turner has done don't care what anyone says arctic monkeys were overrated and lacked any kind of substance. This album however is just great it has a great retro nostalgic feel that really works for them. everyone should listen to this album full stop. great 60s sound great lyrical content. brill 5 stars.

I don't get it! Two great artists, one less than average album. Age of the Understatement is the best track by a mile, the rest, meh!

I love the sound. It's different to Arctic Monkey's, but with Alex's great vocals. I thought the album was superb. It was an awesome idea for Alex to do a side project. Plus, it gives Arctic fans something to enjoy while they are between albums. Keep it up Alex! Personal favourites, are title track, Meeting Place, Standing Next To Me & Only The Truth. Buy now!
