He plays guitar superbly, has a great voice, writes really good songs about interesting subjects - what more do you want ? He's a real nice guy, as well, when I met him on his recent UK mini-tour. Styles on this CD range from Sonny Landreth to Little Feat, taking in SRV, ZZ Top and Lynyrd Skynyrd. It's no mistake that Buddy's vocal on the last John Mayall CD was the best thing on it !
