It's about time Fabric let Yoda loose of their excellent FabricLive series. This CD is great from start to finish, unfortunately it is only 66mins long, I am not usually a "glass half empty" kinda guy but I do wish the full 74mins could have been used.

If you've listened to any DJ Yoda mix or seen him live then you will know what he is all about and with this mix he excels yet again. Yoda covers all bases on No. 39 in the FabricLive series with his trademark Hip-Hop, dashes of drum & bass, dubstep, reggae, big band & indie, all cut up with scratching and tight fader skills.

Despite my love for DJ Yoda's tremendous turntable skills he may not be to many a Hip-Hop purist's tastes. Detractors can find his style clunky or lacks fluidity but his innovation is one of his key assets and as heard before on his Cut & Paste series or his Unthugged Mix with Dan Greenpeace, Yoda does has produced a lively mix which will leave you bobbing your head and then scratching it.

If you are unfamiliar with either Yoda or the FabricLive series then I would suggest doing some research into both. If you have heard anything from Yoda before then I doubt you'll be unhappy about this outting.
