Excellent album. Better than their previous albums i would say. Vocals on this album are very impressive, along with the lyrics and music, worth a look if you like your music heavy with harmony!

Cheers ta de!

As the title says this is awesome for any disturbed fan but to any newbies I would recommend you start with Believe and Ten thousand fists before getting this. t is a great album and an essential for metal lovers.

My opinion lies somewhere between the other reviews on the page- I love Disturbed and always will and I agree this does not have rawness of The Sickness which I could bump anytime anywhere, but I think what they have sacrificed in rawness they have gained in depth as a band. They have become more insightful and political and I like that they are now sending a message rather than just screaming out angst. Their lyrics are alot more thought provoking and inspiring. And when I heard David sing properly for the first time on Believe, I was blown away but admittedly I was unsure I liked the big change. If anything their mistake was to try such a different avenue after having such a blow out success with their first album. I think that has alot to do with why even die hard fans are always left hankering for that agression. Its not worse its just transitioning. Its definately still there but the lyrics are not quite as dirty or gritty ( and in alot of ways very basic) as once they were, though they are still excellent and their riffs remain top notch. Just because Dave is not screeching along constantly anymore and actually has some soul (and tune) in his voice, does not be-lie the power it has. I love that they have not become just another commercial band that ultimately rehash the same song over and over and whos lyrics boil down to absolutely sod all! :) I cannot wait to see what they do next - hopefully they will strike the perfect balance between the 2! :) God Bless these men!

Customer rating: 3 out of 5 stars Still I await the day The Sickness loses its top spot.

Ive been a huge fan of disturbed since the days of the sickness but feel each album has slowly been worst than the previous and this is no exception, dont get me wrong, if like me you love disturbed then you will enjoy this album as it does have its share of good songs but still disturbed have yet to release an album that contends to the more rawer sound the the sickness! SOOOOOOOOOOR!!!

Customer rating: 3 out of 5 stars could be better
