having been a fan of Jason Mraz for all of five years now and having every song he's ever done, i couldn't wait for this album!
This is the best studio album he has done and one of the best albums i've ever heard. This album shows off just how versatile he really is, it varies with great up-beat songs and beautiful more mellow ACOUSTIC types of tracks,

It opens with Make It Mine which is an excellent jazz type song and never fails to make me smile.

Next is I'm Yours which everybody knows and loves! It's just beautiful and gets you clapping along.

Next is Lucky a duet with colbie caillat which is just perfect with simple guitar riffs and colbie's and jason's voices combine beautfiully.

Next is buttertfly which is writted beautifully with fantastic lyrics.

Live high is also beautifully written and involves a female choir singing the line "live high, live mighty, live righteously..." is just amazing and this is one of my personal favourites on this super album!

In love for a child mraz sings about his parents divorcing this song is also beautifully written and mraz' voice is superb.

Details in the fabric is an amazing acoustic duet with james morrison which is the most perfect male duet you could hear.

Coyotes is an upbeat danceable tune which involves children singing.

Only human is about an old tree and is magnificantly written

Dynamo of volition is one of the best upbeat songs he's ever done and shows off his vocal versatility perfectly as he raps then blends it with his acousticy nature

but mraz has saved the best till last. A Beautiful mess is the most beautiful song you will hear and is my favourite song on the album and consists of 5 minutes of perfectness.

The best album i've ever heard/purchased

Really this review is for a total overview of all of Jason Mraz's albums. This is a great album but you should also invest in the previous two albums to fully appreciate this man's, rather underestimated, talent. They are all like taking a musical journey through a lyrical wonderland created by Mraz where you pay very little and leave with so much. It makes me very happy.

Lots of references to the similarity between Mraz and Jack Johnson etc, this is sort of accurate and if you like those guys then you'll probably get on with this but ignore any referance to James Blunt. No similarity at all!

 Does not dissapoint

Having been a bit fan for Mraz for several years I couldn't wait to get my hands on this- and I wasn't dissapointed. He was without doubt born to be a song writer. I have this album on repeat on my Ipod and cannot recommend it highly enough! It gives you an urge to pick up a guitar and get lost in the music as he does. His songs have the feel good factor- D of Voilition being my favourite!Bring on the next one!xx

More talent than the top twenty put together!!!

I'll be honest, it's not my favourite Mraz album but it is still frigging awesome! Dynamo is a dancing must and Lucky is soo beautiful - he is a true lyrical poet!

Undoubtedly Mraz is compared to his peers like James Morrison & Jack Johnson - but this album, for me, is so much warmer & lyrically beautiful than any of the offerings from either of the other two so far. It feels like this album sits somewhere between GC.WC.F with his horns and electro bleeps and the brilliant harmonies of Raul Midon.
It's a gorgeous album, and for £4.99 it's well worth it!
