If you had the original Specials and More specials albums on Vinyl then this is a must buy.
All of their best songs in one place and a much better compilation than previous ones.
The Dvd is a bonus, it will take you right back to the late 70`s early 80`s (if you`re old enough that is??).
Buy it and enjoy it and let it take you back to times when the Ska scene was at it`s peak.

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars Truly Great Ska Band!!!!!!

Like the last reviewer said"This is a great place to start"But you have to have The first Specials album and then its follow up More Specials"Two very different albums"The 1st was Raw and then the second was alot more polished and experimental"Both brilliant albums. This Greatist hits is not alot different from the Specials Singles album released in 1990"Apart from theyve added Rude boys outta jail,Doesent make it alright,Concrete jungle and Blank expression"All great additions,Also the dvd is an added bonus. Its great that magazines and the release of the dvd and this album might generate new interest in a Truly Great Band.

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars best place to start with the specials

Top 100 Music Reviewer

This best of compilation includes just about all of the Specials best moments from Gangsters and the spooky but superb track Ghost Town which was a hit for the dark times under Margaret Thatcher on the eve of the miners strike!
