This is an amazing album from slipknot and i recomend it to anyone who likes metal music. Even if they shout theyy are still my faverouite band ever. :P :)

Slipknot are and will probably be my favourite band of all time! All Hope Is Gone is simply brilliant and i highly recommend it to anyone!

I think it's really cool and brave of them to take a softer edge to their music. Yeah, there is still a lot of shouting but there are a few more songs that just rely on Corey's great voice. The 3 tracks that really stood out for me were Psychosocial, Dead Memories and Snuff.

This is a very good album, my only disappointment is that i know slipknot are capable of better. You will not be wasting your money if you purchase this album, it is well worth the money! The only reason i have not rated this at 5 stars is because a couple of the songs are only average by slipknots standards.

Loads of good songs (just about every one) and anyone that thinks that slipknot's music is just shouting needs to listen to "snuff" amazing song woth buying album just for that.

This album is one heck of a CD!! It's well produced, heavy and has ALOT of attitude! I have been awaiting a return as good as this for a long time! Its very much in a similar style to their self titled CD, which is really fantastic! After their last album I thought they had lost their old style, but no!! They have returned!!!

Wow this has really change from their old stuff the vocals have compltely changed with more brutal lyrics and there is solos!!!!
There is not really much or of the dj stuff anmore so if you liked the dj side of slipknot you're stuffed!
The best thing though is the variety there are some havey songs and some light songs and normal rock so if you liked slipknot before you're bound to like them now!!!!

I've never been a fan of Slipknot....too much noise and not enough melody to keep me interested for any length of time. I simply don't like the 1st album. The 2nd album "Iowa", I'll admit I haven't heard, but the singlesreleased di nothing for me. "Vol.3 The Submilinal Verses" was quite a bit better in my opinion. I loved "Duality" and "Before I Forget" as they added much needed melody and catchiness into the heavy sound. The rest of the album was pretty decent as well. This 4th album "All Hope Is Gone" is really very good. "Psychsocial" is an awesome tune! The 1st half of the album is generally really good, with "Sulphur" being another great song. I recommend this to anyone who doesn't think Slipknot are all that great, so that they can be pleasantly surprised.

I got a copy of this album when it first came out and was so inpressed. I didnt think it would have match up to there first 2 albums but it does!
I would recomend this album to every Metal head out there !

good record but dont think its up to subliminal verses level,but still, dont write it off, buy it and make your own decision about it.
