Anti-Flag used to be so amazin, back in the days of underground network they were unstoppable. But this album is a massive let down.

1. Good and Ready - Not the usual energy filled, fast paced opener familiar to anti-flag, not a gd start.

2. Bright Lights of America - the single - to poppy for my liking, i can see how people would like it. Good for the new fans, painful on the ears for the hardcore anti-flag fans. I'm not even gonna mention the video.

3. Vices - the intro shows promise of a new anti-flag, but the song is to long with a very slow rythm, chris 2 shudnt try to sing properly.

4. The Modern Rome Burning - Another that shows promise early on, but yet egen just anti-climaxes at the chorus and never gets back into it, way too long, far too much chanting - even for anti-flag.

5. If you wanna steal you gotta learn how to lie - such basic music, you really do expect better from anti-flag, catchy chorus.

6. No Warning - The idea is there, but theres something missing, and who evers idea is was to chant 'no warning' every 2 bars shud b shot...nah im jokin i love these guys.

7. Spit in the Face - A bit of light at the end of the tunnel, good old fashioned fast drums, fast power chord anti-flag, one of the best on the album.

8. We are the lost - Slow tempo, whiny chorus, lack of energy in the verse.

9. Go West - i admire them for trying to be different, but a harmonica?

10. The Smartest Bomb - Nice riff, good verse, very catchy chorus (believe me ive had this in my head at work for hours on end) only the 2nd good track on this album.

11. Shadow of the Dead - good bass riff, verse gets annoying, good chorus, hate chris 2's singing in the first half of the breakdown, good solo but i felt i could predict exactly where it was going

12. The Ink and the Quill - good ideas, basic catchy punk, 'be afraid' gets annoying, the child choir is a nice touch

13. Bonus Track - if you wanna hear chris 2 whine over an acoustic guitar, this is ur thing

Overall - If youve just found Anti-flag, don't buy this album, buy something older, and if you've been following anti-flag for years, give it a go u can't loose, but don't expect much.
