All I can say is that The Roots have once again succeeded in producing a brilliant album! An absolute must have!

..Once again, the hardest working band in Hip-Hop (or any other genre) are back, and ever since their move to Def Jam and the release of their 9th Album "Game Theory", they're harder than ever....

Gone are the days of the laid back smooth beats and lyrics from "Things fall apart" or "Illadeph...." the Roots tackle subjects like the prison system with such vigour, you can't help but emerse yourself in their world...

Stand out track (for me anyway) Criminal will leave you in a sense of bewilderment within the first verse...

It's a harder album than I've heard of theirs in a while, but without the bravado of the gun-clapping culture of most modern (and weak!) "so called" Hip-Hop.. Considering Hip-Hop is about a way of life, the Roots seem to encapsulate their lives within each album they make..

Go out and buy this now.. remember that not all "Hip-Hop" is about "bling / bitchez / hoes / rims", and enjoy this.. you'll be rewarded..

oh.. and 75 bars...Wow.. where did THAT come from!!!
