For any true Radiohead fan this is somewhat of a duplication of the excellent but more commercial successes of this fantastic band and as you might reasonably expect omits some of the truly exceptional album tracks. However for those who have not got the albums then this is a brilliant showcase of music from a great band. Satisfaction guaranteed.
Don't listen to the fanboys

Ok, yes - if you buy the albums you'll get a better sense of the artistic sensibilities of the band, but last I checked Radiohead released SINGLES. And this is mostly those SINGLES.
If you've been looking for a way of listening to their most populist moments, when great music making and innovative recording techniques came together and made them one of the biggest bands on the planet, go get it.
If you're a rabid fan, this isn't for you anyway. Yes, it's a cash in, but it's beautifull packaged and gives you the chance to own all the promo clips if you buy the DVD set.
Fan boys, go home.
I LOVE RADIOHEAD but......

this is wrong....yes it may be a good place to start for a new listener to Radiohead, however, i still don't think you should purcase this set of greatest hits. Radiohead's songs are best listened to when in their individual album because each of the album's create a different atmosphere and head in a different direction to the previous album. You cannot rip the best songs from their album and compile one album...it just doesn't work for Radiohead. As another reviewer has pointed out Paranoid Android MUST follow Airbag!!!!! Please buy one of Radiohead's individual albums (i would suggest In Rainbows/Ok Computer) and you will see what i mean, i am 99.9% certain that this will result in you purcasing the rest
ignore the poor reviews!

Top 10 Music Reviewer
first of all okay it looks like the job of EMI looking to make a few extra bucks by releasing a best of by Radiohead on the back of them not releasing "Rainbows" on a label but don't let the reviews be off putting as this is by far a very good best of for anybody wanting to sample a few of their best tracks "like paranoid android" and "Iron Lung" for example before delving deep inside their back catalogue for other hits and obscure gems.
Its all about the music

Lots of fans like the people below arnt happy with this because the record company have released it & its got nothing to do with the band & thats fair enough & yes with a band as good as Radiohead you should get the albums but its still a great collection of tracks which is perfect for a newbie.
Only complaint is that Optimistic should of been included but other then that they have done a good job with the track listing & its a great place to start.
Don't

Radiohead haven't brought this out, it's their record company who did it, as they were annoyed that Radiohead didn't resign with them. As the record company own the rights over the music, the band couldn't stop them from bringing a greatest hits CD out, even though they didn't want them to. Same as with the Oasis Greatest Hits a while back. So there was not a lot Radiohead could do about it. Much better to get the original albums than to hear them here all out of context.
Not a great idea

Not sure why radiohead have done this... Personally, I love them. They're one of my favourite bands and I have all the albums, and I enjoy every one of them, but a greatest hits compilation is wrong for 2 reasons,
1 - how can they choose which tracks to put on?!
2 - how can those tracks be heard in a different context/order?
Do yourself a favour and get the big boxset they do, or if you're a little low on cash, get in rainbows or ok computer (imo their most approachable albums)
Don't buy this

Radiohead's music should really be listened to in the original context - Paranoid Android not following Airbag is just so very wrong. Also, the one B-Side on here (Talk Show Host) seems odd. It's a good song, but hardly Radiohead's best B-Side. Personally I would have chosen Polyethelene.
Anyway, back to the point at hand. Don't waste £12 of your money. Instead spend £40 and get the entire studio back catalogue and "I Might Be Wrong": 7CD Album Box Set (£31.99) and In Rainbows (£7.99). You wont regret it.
