Citizen Brain (CD & DVD)

From the opening of 'Zombie Blood Nightmare' this album just does not let up, 40 minutes of wrist achingly fast riffs, humorous lyrics satirising a wide variety of subject matter, traditionally taken more... seriously by thrash bands.

If you like fun, party thrash, zombies and consuming large amounts of alcohol you will most likely enjoy this album. Although Philly's voice is, at first an acquired taste I found that I soon got used to it, and enjoyed it as it added a fun edge to the music, and fun is what Gama Bomb do best!

Even the guitar tone retains a fun, bouncy feel to it as the band shred through such thrash anthems as 'Hammer Slammer,' 'Zombie Blood Nightmare,' and 'Hull Trukker.' 'Citizen Brain' is well worth the money, each play gives a little bit more to the listener - a huge feat considering that, at first glance it seems to be "just another party thrash record." Well worth the money. One of the best albums to come from the so-called "new wave of thrash"

If you like your music fast, and with zombies... Gama Bomb is for you.

I am quite a fan of this Thrash revival we are seeing.
Gama Bomb are one of the better bands of recent years.

This album is hard and fast and great fun.

the sort of album made by a bunch of fun loving thrashers dedeicated to drink and zombies tracks like "Zombie Brew" paints the whole picture for the album with lots of non-stop riffing enough to wake the dead and put an end to the world.
