Although the 3 previous scores have been fantastic, this one unfortunately is nearly as weak as the film.. with exception to the indiana jones march and the rare glimps of marion's theme, the score is easily forgettable. With the other films Willams was very particular in keeping all of his themes within the score consistant and in style with one another.. In this score he has made no attempt to allow the themes or motifs to blend within a specific style.. This is a lazy attempt Mr Williams however considering you had very little to work with, one can not blame you for churning this score out as quickly as possible to do nothing more than lightly 'spot' the extremely inconsistent set-pieces in the movie itself.. shame...

John Williams is an absolute legend, and having loved the original films and soundtracks I had high hopes. I wasn't disappointed. John Williams is the kind of composer who you can really rely on to provide top quality scores and themes that not only reflect what's happening on screen but which become trapped in your head (it's not a bad thing =P)
All the tracks on here are fantastic but my particular favourites are "Raiders March" (obviously =P), "The adventures of Mutt", "The journey to akator", "The jungle chase", "Grave robbers", "The departure" and "Finale" to name a few =P. an utterly superb soundtrack, well worth it!
