This album is an absolute treat to the ears. The phrase 'multi-layered' has never matched an album so well. Although not as instantly appealing as the all-out assault of 'fly or die' or having the more emotional aspect of 'in search of...', 'Seeing sounds' is on par with either and is a slow burner that you will frequently return to....Personal highlights include 'spaz' and 'love-bomb'

Any music fan, never mind N.E.R.D fan needs this album in their collection. This album impressed me so much, every track is different, ranging from ROCK and FOLK to HIP HOP and even DRUM N' BASS, with Pharrell's signature falsetto's flowing throughout. Production is amazing, lyric's are sound (Check 'everybody nose') and it's hard to pick a favourite track. Deffinetley one of the album's of the year so far....MONSTER!!!!

this album as so many amazing sounds, half of it is very upbeat and energetic and the other half is very chilled out and serious. i think it its much better than their previous album fly or die and is eqaul to in search of... if not better!!! i have only given it a few listenes so i haven't fully grown on it. but i would recommend to any n.e.r.d. fans as it still has their unique and also to anyone who likes funky and experimental hip hop with upbeat and lifting lyrics, not negative and violent.
