Waterloo to Anywhere has pretty much been on a loop on my ipod for the past 2 years, so RASN had a lot to live up to. Which makes it all the more meaningful that i love this album as much as i do. Its one of those albums that grows on you with every listen, and does what music is supposed to do - it really makes you feel something, whether its hope when youre feeling down (Truth Begins), anger and frustration (Hippys Son, Buzzards and Crows), or love and longing (Come Closer). Part of this is DPTs witty and intelligent lyrics, part of it is the sincerity, enthusiasm and passion with which it is delivered. In a music industry that seems to have been diluted by non-chalant bands who are all image and no substance, DPT are unique in that they actually seem to really care about their music. Its really hard to pick out the best track, purely because theyre all so good, and all so different from each other - and to me, thats the mark of a really good album
