Wish I had read the reviews before I purchased this
disappointing album. It sounded like ageing rockers
trying to appeal to a nineties audiance
Excellent selection - Cheap Re-recordings

Like another reviewer said, if you want the original recordings of this otherwise excellent compilation, avoid like the plague! To my ears not one single song from the 56 tracks here is the original. Shame.
If it's original recordings that you want give this a miss.Small print on back of case says"includes some new recordings by original artists" I hardly recognised "My Girl " by Mary Wells.Avoid unless it's for someone who doesn't really care. Shame really 'cos altogether it's an excellent collection.
