Okay, so he's young and something of the pin-up of New Blues scene which seems to be emerging, but don't for one instant let that put you off as this lad has a raw talent that belies his years. His voice has a soulful edge and the drum/base backing is sound and sure to give Oli's soloing confidence and a touch of organ to give richness and fullness where needed. It shows that Oli is learning and refining his craft by getting out there and playing. This is a great album for a late night drive and a damn good debut; the only reason I haven't given 5 stars is that I feel he's going to get better and better. The follow up album is due soon I understand.
