amazing cd. first disc is really brilliant uplifting progressive trance of the future style i have no doubt SO GOOD. then the second disc is some really funky electro and house also superb. im just back from ibiza and this truly is the real sound of ibiza BUY IT!!!!!!
Having been listening to trance since the early 90's, I was gutted when Jules's compilations started to deteriorate. The track selections seemed off and the mixing was very average (seemed to coincide with the move to CD decks?? - give me a set of 1210's anyday).
I've grown up admiring this guy & he's certainly shaped my music preferences.
All those tracks you constantly hear on the trance anthem compilations - Jules was the one who found them & brought them to the masses!
Anyway...that's all part of the reason why I'm soooo pleased right now.
This CD sees Jules return to top form. His mixing on CD1 is tight as and the tracks build and build like I've not heard in a long time. The section from tracks 7-11 on CD1 is particularly euphoric and is as good as it gets in my opinion.
Rob Tissera serves up an invigorating chunk of deeper, tech trance on CD2. Not my preference but tight and worth a listen. If you like his style then this might be more for you.
So.....should you buy this CD?
Absolutely!! Even if it came with just CD1 it would be worth every penny...Jules is back on form! Long live the Judge!!
