 Defintely one for your Radio!

Having left world-wide known Universal Islands, the McFLY boys have set up their own little camp under the name of Super Records, Tagline; Saving the World, One song at a Time!
This is quite possibly the best move the boys could have made, having full control over what goes on with their production and Radio:ACTIVE is the outcome of their first SOLO material since breaking from the company and have proven to everyone that they're respectable musicians that deserve more credit than they get.
The album in its entirety is full, broad and complete with a lot of different sounds, some more heavier, that perhaps a percentage of previous fans will dislike it, but this IS McFLY.
This is the REAL McFLY; the raw McFLY without being edited.
Something I can honestly say nearly 100% of the fans have been wanting for the past 4/5 years.

Believe me, with a selection of brand new songs, including the new, hit single, 'Lies', this album is definitely one for the radio and one for your record players at home.

And who knows... You're not a McFLY fan? Give them a go, you might find their new sound refreshing and might actually like them.

"PoynterJones" sums it up! ACE Album!

What "PoynterJones" just said, all of that is true. McFly deserve more respect than they get and im sorry but i have to say its one of the best albums i've ever listened to and i've listened to alot. It was a brave move to give away there album away for free in the paper to promoted there new style and I hope people have taken a liking to them. They Deserve all the credit they can get. Trust me, if you respect music for what it is you will love this album. Personally one of the most talented British Bands in todays world! BUY IT!!!

Top 100  Reviewer Top 100 DVD Reviewer Top 10 Music Reviewer

Many many years ago when Wham started The press would slaughter them, no one took into account that George Michael was writing playing singing and producing the material. Although musically very different I see a lot of comparisons with McFly, caught in that boyband trap as they had more young female fans than male fans, and fans that may move on to the next new thing. However If you actually give this group a listen past the excellent "All about you" written by a 19 year old Fletcher you may be surprised. Fletcher is a very talented writer, playing guitar backed up with Jones also on guitar who contributes a lot to the writing and has an amazing vocal range, Poynter,on bass who also contributes to the writing on a few songs as well a providing great harmonies, Judd on drum's keeping everything together, is a very good drummer, he also contributes on occasions to the writing and of cause is the fittest member having won strictly come dancing. Radio Active the first album away from Island records and giving the group full control, you appear to get what the band really are a bunch of Rockers. Listen to POV (points of view) the lyrics are mature and exciting telling the story of a break up and is just brilliant and one of the best things this group have ever done.Falling in love for me holds a personal love, but it is Mcfly meets Springsteen and is another brilliant song which deserved to be a massive hit.Lies is an excellent rocker, DoYa another sing-along, corrupted just works This album is a massive change in direction with a group trying to shake off the Boyband tag and be excepted as a just a hard working band, McFly are older than what the Jam were when they recorded Going underground and That's entertainment, but the Jam were lucky enough not to be tarnished with that "boy" tag and had an equal number of boy and girl fans. This album confused many critics who appeared not to except that McFly needed to change to survive, they have and for me at the time produced the best album of there carrier so far, of cause then came above the noise and that changed me from fan to massive fan. So if you wan the rock of Springsteen and the harmonies of Crowded house meet McFly

 Super

I really love the new album! Didn't know what to expect, 'cause they said they wanted too do it all different, but i love it.
It has a new sound. More like the 3 new songs from the greatest hits album.
Smile is my favourite song on the album.
All the songs stay in your head for the rest of the day. Lyrics are great too!
This is superrecords first super record!
