 Hard as a rock....

A flawless album by one of the greatest rock bands of all time. For me, this is probably one of, if not the best release from the brian johnson back catalogue. Each and every song is perfect. All killer and no filler. This is definately ac/dc getting back to basics back in 1996, with a raw and fun collection of songs. Brian's vocals are warm and husky (a contrast to many of the brian albums of the 1980's), the guitars are crystal clear and the bass and drums provide a solid and pulsating backbone to cheeky riffs, blistering licks, blues soaked guitar solos and a shameless and enjoyable portion of sleaze, blues, smut and booze. All that is brilliant about rock 'n' roll is right here on this awesome album.
Total bargain. Stand out tracks for me: Boogie man, burnin' alive, caught with your pants down and ballbreaker. This album genuinely never gets old or boring.

Don't know what clicked but this album and "Stiff upper Lip" have been the best ac/dc albums since Bon's sad departure.
Now Brian has been doing a good job since being the new front man but this is really ac/dc getting back to there best.
