I could listen to this man's voice all day. Absolutely smooth sounding album, great in this wonderful summer sun and even when the sun isn't shining, listening to him, you will feel like it is. He just schmoozes you along. Love it. Paolo you are genius.

there arent many albums where you can safely say that all the tracks meet up to your expectations, you can this one! a fab choice for anyone who enjoys folk, soul, regge or pop.

Really unusual sounding voice and great sounding backing music. Wasn't quite sure what to expect but i was very pleasantly surprised. It's hard to describe the style of music, it's a little bit of everything which strangely works REALLY well...well done Paolo ;-)

Paolo nutini's song writing on this album is very very good. I bought this album because i liked his unusual sounding voice on the single "pencil full of lead" and didn't have a huge amount of expectation for it. However now it has barely managed to escape from my CD player! If you enjoy listening to his singles, then you should not hesitate in purchasing this album.

I can't possibly begin to desribe how amazing this album is. I wasn't necessarily a fan but this has turned me. If you don't absolutely love this album then you are just weird. How it was not nominated for a grammy or something that prestigious is beyond a joke, suppose it just shows the unfairness of albums making it in the us... But this is without a doubt the best album since What's The Story (Morning Glory) by Oasis!

 Superb

I loves Paolos first album and rushed to buy this the second it came out. There is no denying that it is completely different to his first album but it is just as good, if not better! You can tell that after releasing a 'commercial' sounding record, he decided to show fans the full range of his musical ability. His talent radiates on every track. Where else would you find reggae, country, pop and even some cat stephen inspired songs on one album?! For his age he is a musical genius and i hope to hear more from him over the years. A firm favourite of mine, my dads and my mums - music for all ages. Stand out song for me is 'No Other Way' purely due to the voice trembling climax.
