  Nice purchase

At first this was a purchase after listening to robot rock which in my opinion is the best song on the album.
growing up in the era of which dance and electronic music are becoming more popular every year this album offers something different in the electronic side of music
the album has a mix of tempos which for the listener is nice to hear I would regard this as a definite purchase if you like electronic music

Very good, but they rushed it

After producing legendary albums in the form of 'Homework' and 'Discovery', fans of everyone's favourite French electronica artists had their faces lit up upon hearing about the release of the 'Human After All' LP release in 2005.

Expecting a similar kind of magic that came with their 'Discovery' album, I put this CD on and after hearing its tracks I had a feeling of bitter disappointment, almost one of resentment towards Daft Punk. The initial feeling was that they had gone too hardcore.

How naive of me to feel that way though, knowing that Daft Punk's tracks over the years were ones which seemed to grow on me rather than make a huge first impression. For this album it was no different. After a few listens I began to love some of the tracks, and the invention behind them, particularly 'The Prime Time Of Your Life' and 'Technologic', the former of which was cleverly arranged and the latter of which was very catchy.

Despite eventually adapting to the general sound of this album, in my opinion this is still Daft Punk's weaker LP. Perhaps this is no surprise considering that it took only six weeks to produce. However, a weak effort from Daft Punk would still be considered a very good effort in the general music world. In its own right it's still an album worth owning.

It's in the repetition of the tracks, and once you suss what Daft Punk are doing with this album you'll fall head over heels in love for it.

This is a great album, i know its recieved mixed reviews but if you tried the other 2 albums you should really give this a try. Robot Rock & Human After All are excellent tracks and Technologic is really cool. If you like Daft Punks music also check out the new Alive 2007 album.

Anyone who likes alternative and electronica should consider purchasing this. Most of the Daft Punk is electronica/alternative. The lyrics are very simple if there are any. Still it is not all the same. Some of it is really smooth while some of it sounds like hard rock. It's definitely very daft but it also contains a lot of nice sound. Brilliant to some (me) daft to others :).
