Fab Album only brought it as it was recommended by the Editor of Play, great choice, good soft rock. If you like elbow/script definitively one for you.

One word, wow! This album is immense. Have been following white lies for a while and saw them and they are something special. This album is flawless, it really is. Every track is top class, spell binding, face punching genious. I can guarantee that this album will go down in history as a 'must have' . This band will be playing stadiums in the future. AWESOME!!

With the music and lyrics that have the sound of julien cope in the 80's yet has its own unique twist. Once you get a taste of white lies you will be addicted.

Never heard of this band before but based on the reviews and the editors review, I thought I would give this a listen and am glad I did. This could easily be in my top 10 list of 2009, but who knows what the future holds... Anyway, highly recommend! And as many others have noticed, there is a hint of Interpol/Editors within.

  Outstanding Debut!!

Excellent debut album, well polished band with great talent. Echoes of Joy division, Interpol and even a little bit of duran duran (only a bit lol), if your only going to buy one album this year, this is a must have!!!!! 5*

Two words: absolutely superb! It's having the same effect Editors' The Back Room had when it first came out. It also reminds me of a great (unknown) Swedish band called The Mary Onettes. It's very new wave, you should give it a listen if you are into bands like E&TB, Cure, New Order, Joy Division.
