  A Lady Of Taste

If you like 80s electro pop you will like this album. I must admit Ladyhawke is a bit too pop sounding for my taste, I prefer Santogold or M.I.A., Ladyhawke sounds like Charlotte Hatherley without the guitars. A warning to those who buy Ladyhawkes album, it is annoyingly sing-a-long able.

  Amazing album

By far the best album I have bought in years. Every track is great! The whole album sounds like it has been done with passion. It makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up every time you listen to it. Just buy it!!

I was actually quite disappointed with this album!
There's a few good tracks like My Delirium and Dusk Until Dawn but apart from that, it's pretty average!

Amazing album. Very very good. Makes you happy which is what we want isn't it. So buy it and play loud and enjoy. Very different to other bands.

This band is awesome, the girl has a real authentic 80's voice. The influence's are obvious 80's act's. The sound is up to the same standard's as the music of the 80's. If you love 80's music you'll love this!!

I was lucky to see this band live on Monday supporting the ting Tings. As the lead almost seemed stage shy made up with vocals and overall great sound. I will be purchasing this album and would go and see them again!!

Chances are you won't hate this album; the 80s synth and rather simplistic beats do very nicely as background music, but it lacks the real grit in the melodies that propel an album to atmospheric highs. The vocals do help to rectify the situation, often sounding disinterested and drab.

I expected much more, given the hype. Buy it if you have the money to spend.

  Worth the gamble :-)

I heard a clip of Magic played over a montage on Five TV of shows coming in January. I did not know the name of the tune or the even the artist at the time. All I knew was that it was the best tune i had heard for a good while.

Deperately trying to remember the two lines of lyrics I heard, I headed to Google to find out who it was. Minutes later I was ordering the Ladyhawke album from Play.com!

It arrived today and I am just listening to it again for the 2nd time loudly! I am so glad I took the risk to buy it. Other reviews have described the style of the songs better than I could, all I will add is that sometimes you have to take a gamble trying a new artist and this album is an example of when that bravely is rewarded :-)

Magic is my favourite track at the moment but I have no doubt that that will change the more I listen to the album. A great start to 2009.

This is the soundtrack to 2008/9 for me.
There is not one bad track.
Try lto dusk till dawn and another runaway, two of my favorite tracks. She has a real talent.

My mum even likes it :)
