Well, where can I begin. "12 Angry Months" is the latest offering from the mighty two piece musical spectacular that is Local H.
Packed with powerful, enjoyable and catchy songs you will have in your head all day; songs with bite and also some dark humour, this is a brilliant album from the Zion/Chicago based band.
The vocals and guitar work on this album by Scott Lucas is brilliant, as is the drumming by the experienced Brian St.Clair.
This band seriously deserve more recognition than they get - and now that this album has been released in the UK, it shows how their fanbase is growing.
This album contains songs which will make you laugh, songs which will make you cry, and songs which you will just want to rock out to.
In my opinion this is the bands best work for a long while, and is my joint favourite "H" album along with 1996's "As Good As Dead".
Highlight songs on this album include the catchy first single from the album "24 Hour Break Up Session", "Sumer of Boats", "The One With 'Kid'", "BMW Man", and "Simple Pleas".
If you like your music powerful and raw then get this album now, and even if you're not, get the album anyway - you won't be dissappointed.
Have a good time, and listen to some "proper" music for once.
This is the album of the year in my opinion.
