 Black day for AC/DC

I have waited until i played the new cd some 20+ times before writing a review of it so i could give my proper opinion of it without getting over excited by a brand new release from ac/dc. To be honest i think it is only slightly better than their last disastrous stiff upper lip cd .They are just churning out the same old riffs again and offering us nothing to get excited about with the exception of the brilliant rock n roll ( runaway ) train which is as good as anything they have wrote !! Even lyrically we get even more"rock n roll" songs ,cant they think of anything else to write about ? As i understand they only have been rehearsing 2 new songs for the live tour and are relying on the classics as always but if they liked this cd then surely they would be playing more , which for me explains why it is so poor !!

Right up my street, yes its nothing new, but do we really expect or want anything different from ac/dc?? I think not lol

Its the whole point, its pure classic rock n roll, high voltage, no noise pollution tnt kissin dynamite, shaking our foundations hells bells hahaha

 Back with Black Ice

Ever since the release of Back in Black AC/DC have never quite released an album of serious quality to set down their place as the kings of rock and roll (The Razor's Edge came close). With this album, almost 30 years after their greatest success, AC/DC have cemented their place in rock history with a great album. It's nothing new or groundbreaking - just a collection of fantastic songs, great riffs and Brians vocals are back on form. Bring on the Black Ice world tour!

Not many bands could turn this out after 35 years in the biz

I've been looking forward to this for many years having been a fan since I was old enough to tune into Tommy Vance on a Friday night and remember listening when the terrible news of Bon Scotts death came through. If You want blood was the first album I bought.

I never expected DC to bring out an album to match back in black, (the second biggest selling album in the world don't forget) but this is better than some of the previous stuff and for that they must take much credit for the overall quality, energy and sound created.

It certainly needs more than one listen and has been jammed in my cars' CD player ever since launch.

I too believe that one or two tracks don't need to be there, Anything Goes doesn't do it for me but that said RockNRoll train is worth the price on its own.

We have to make the most of this great and in my opinion grossly underated band whilst they are still around. They are the undisputed Daddys of Metal for me, no other band comes close as a recording and live band. No band can last this long without doing something right and anyone expecting something different or new from DC, some kind of concept album needs to do their music history because that isn't what DC are about.

A complaint...... the god awful lack of a decent gig list in the UK that has seen the touts get richer and the real fans frozen out,

I have seen them on every tour since Back In Black and missing this one will be a right royal pain in the backside. Come on boys... Milton Keynes or one of a miriad of stadiums beckon, surely.

 Top class - A legend

From start to finish this is top class and is one of their best albums in my opinion. This is up there with Back in Black . I havn't stopped playing it since I bought it two weeks ago and it just gets better the more you play it. Hopefully we won't have to wait as long for the next one.
