Well after buying their 'Greatest Hits' album I was just about satisfied with Girls Aloud as a group and decided, yes, I really do like them. Then soon after 'Tangled Up' was released with the heart stopping singles 'Call The Shots', 'Sexy! No No No' and 'Can't Speak French' I was roped in even further with their talent. However this album really breaks the mould, to begin with, their extremely successful single 'The Promise' starts off the upbeat, cheery and romantic vibes going, followed by the beautiful track 'Loving Kind' (also a single). Western, almost country style music takes over when 'Rolling Back The Rivers In Time' and 'Love Is The Key' are introduced to the listener, at first it seemes very strange but when you get used to it you understand the complexity and mixture of song genre in the album. My personal die-hard favourites that I just cannot stop listening to are 'Turn To Stone', 'Love Is Pain' and 'Untouchable' (Be aware that 'Untouchable' on this album isn't the single version that has been played on radio and television, its the longer, original version and its just a beauty to listen to, so romantic and fitted with the groups' harmonious voices, it really does earn a 10/10 for best song on the album, its quite possibly the greatest song that GA have ever created)
The album has not won the crucial 5 star mark, becasue of the slightly less interesting tracks 'Live In The Country' and 'We Wanna Party' overall however this is an album thats definetly NOT to be missed!! x Ly GA!

Good upbeat tunes and if you went to the out of control tour like myself you will prob get goose bumps when you hear untouachable!! My only wish is that they'd have realised revolution in the head.

  Wonderfully Average

the chart speaks for itself, the first of their albums to produce a song not to reach the top 10, and another to barely scratch it before leaving. Three decent singles, the rest scream filler - could have been a hell of a lot better. Perhaps marking the decline of this band?

This album is growing on me with each listen.Very good sound and still very catchy like previous albums they have released.Probably their best album so far with the standout track being The Promise although when more tracks get radio friendly so will the album, that happened with Tangled Up.I really hope they don't split up because there is no one better who does what they do!
