 My personal favourite Oasis album

| | See all ThomasRN's reviews (22)

This album is the most under rated album of all time. I am a massive Oasis fan and this is my personal favourite album. How an album which includeds F'n in the bushes, Go let it out, Who feels love?, sunday morning call, Gas panic! and Where did it all go wrong? always gets slated is beyond me. some of Oasis's best work can be found on this album. Enjoy!

 pretty good album!!

OK, so this album is not as good as the 4 albums released before it, but it's still a very good piece of work from the band!! What this album lacks, compared to those other 4, is songs that u can instantly get into!! ('DM' had 'Live Forever' & 'Supersonic'. 'WTSMG' had 'Wonderwall' & 'Dont Look Back In Anger'. 'BHN' had 'Stand By Me' & 'D'You What I Mean?'... etc.) but there are some gems on this album...

...like the #1 single, 'Go Let It Out'. Another cracker is the dark 'Gas Panic!', (imo, one of Noel's greatest songs!!). but, like the rest of album, it takes a few listens to get into it!! but when u do, u'll love these songs!! other examples are 'Sunday Morning Call', 'Where Did It All Go Wrong?', 'Who Feels Love?' and 'Roll It Over'...

overall, it's a pretty good album, and deserves more credit. but it just isn't as 'instant' as Oasis' previous material...

This is a superb album, echoing the views of ThomasRN,tracks like Gas Panic!,Go let it out,etc do get overlooked when Oasis tracks are mentioned.Buy it!

 Highly Underated Album

This album has some of noel's most darkened thoughts and lyrics like Gas Panic which is an immense song about Noel coming off drugs. Other deep and meaningful songs are Where did it all go Wrong and Who feels love?.
This is certainly Oasis' most heavy album and its less pop than albums such as dont believe the truth. There are a few songs on here though to skip such as 'Put your money where your mouth is' and I can see a liar'. But there are certainly more good than bad with also the singles 'Go let it out' and 'Sunday Morning Call'.
