First off this album is all one song. most would take one listen of the first few songs of this album and say it's crap. it gives me comfort these simplistic minded people will never be able to appreciate something as original and unique as this. This sounds like nothing you've ever heard and the layout of the album as well is very interesting, it seems to get more fast and brutal as the album progresses, with good use of repetition. At times it breakes into All Out Chaos, perfectly timed and well planed out chaos, with random changes in guitar rifts and more intellectual lyrics.

All bands draw influences from others I don't think Meshuggah had any, no other hardcore metal band compares, these guys are Mathematical and Kaleidoscopic, if you're open minded and getting bored sick of the same sounding mainstream hardcore metal bands, buy this it's worth the risk
