Breakaway

Kelly Clarkson's first 'proper' album after getting the first American Idol album out of the way is a mixed bag of material.

When it's good, it's REALLy good pop ('Behind these Hazel Eyes', 'Because of You', 'Walk Away' and the still immensely awesome pop monster 'Since U Been Gone'). But when it's less good then some of it is also fairly bad on the ears (personally I've almost never been able to get through the entirety of 'Hear Me' or 'I Hate Myself for Losing You') but overall it's a solid slice of pop.

And the one thing that is never in anything less than top form is Kelly's superb voice itself. Always an extremely powerful tool and one of the best pop voices around she uses it to full effect on this batch of songs.

Breakaway is one good quality cd of Kelly Clarkson. I would say all the tracks are good, and you can listen to it over and over again. Behind These Hazel Eyes and Because Of You are two of my favourite songs on this album. Hear Me, Addicted, You Found Me and Since U Been Gone are really great songs too. This album have all the good songs and variety that it need to be a good buy.

This is a good album with quite a mix of songs. If you like strong female vocalists you should like this album.

Fantastic album, Kelly delivers so much in this album, every track is great. A must buy, and check out her other albums like Thankful and My December.

I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm a fan of Kelly Clarkson's 'Breakaway'. Kelly's voice is superb and it's good that she doesn't put her talent to waste. I haven't had a chance to listen or purchase her new record yet though.

Kelly Clarkson is an amazing artist, who by far is one of the most talented people around! (She's definitely my favourite singer).

Breakaway is a brilliant album, with a number of amazing songs, some of which Kelly wrote herself (told you she was talented!). This album shows off Kelly's Rockstar side with powerful vocals, full of feeling and emotion.

In my opinion, the best tracks on this album are: "Breakaway", "Since U Been Gone", "Behind These Hazel Eyes", "Because of You", "Addicted", "Walk Away", "Hear Me" and "Beautiful Disaster."

I hope Kelly Clarkson continues to write songs and release albums for years and years, because she truly is an incredible artist (I think she's the best). Rock on KC!

An amazing album from a truly talented singer. Mostly a pop album but some tracks definately have a rocky edge. It has something for everyone, I highly reccommend.

wat an album!! i think this one really propelled kell, ill hav to ask my friend lis on that one but this is the one that really got her noticed, well at least i really noticed her after this fantastic album! great songs again and a few hav become like her trademark. Behind these Hazel Eyes is great, Since u been Gone is great too, in fact they are all great!! Top Notch!

This album is brilliant. Every track is great. I think the best track is Breakaway.

I have all of Kelly's albums but this is the best. Highly recommended. All the songs on this are fantastic. Great chick album.
