This is the 2nd Alabama 3 album I bought, Exile on Cold Harbour lane being the first. This is a very different album to that and in it's own way just as appealing. Larrys vocals are outstanding throughout and the band as a whole work together to produce a tight, imaculately twisted sound no matter what style of music they play. High points for me are "Keep Your Shades On" .. "Hello I'm Johnny Cash" the wild west ballad style "Have you Seen Bruce Richard Reynolds" ... what am I talking about - all 12 are high points!! The more I see this band live and the MOR (sic) albums I hear the more I wish i had discovered them years ago - guess i missed out coz I got too old and boring to keep hitting the festival circuit which where they cut their teeth! Making up for that now as much as possible!
