I felt a little let down when I played this. It is NOT the Machine Head of the hit parade. It sounds almost like a demo tape and/or bootleg recording. But .... it's still very good. If you like their songs you'll like this disc. Same songs completely different sound. The only duff track for me is Indian Queen, the others are great. Trust me, they grow on you. I play this almost every day now. Wish I'd seen them live. If you like blues and/or Medicine Head you will love this recording. You simply have to try a little harder. In my experience songs, singers, and groups that grow on you slowly are the ones that stay with you all your life.
