Rockferry (Deluxe Edition 2CD)

I love this album, however it is really annoying as I bought this album back in March and like the Leona Lewis album, they get re-released with a few extra tracks on them, so you have to buy the whole album again! It is really annoying. If they want to add a few tracks to it then either do it when the album is released or save them for the next album!

But i've heard "rain on your parade" which is amazing!!! And i think it should be the new bond theme tune. The one they have chosen is pure crap.
2 Be honest, this album was brilliant when it first came out, so the new songs can't make it much better, but i imagine they'll make it that extra special. This album is on top of my christmas list.
Yes, ok it is rather annoying when they bring out another version of the same album (like rihanna's good girl gone bad: Reloaded) and i'm rather lucky because i didn't rush out to buy the album when it was first released - a friend let me borrow it - but who cares?!

You may well be thinking why should we have to fork out more money for another CD of songs that would easily have fitted onto the first CD,and i can't argue with that.
However after loving the original release of this album,i decided as the deluxe edition is going cheap now,i'll take a chance and buy it,giving the original one to my dad.
I'm happy enough with that decission now,as the other tracks are very good,and though there are only seven,it is kind of like having 2 great short albums.
I admit i wasn't overly sure about RAIN ON YOUR PARADE on first few listens when it was played on the radio,but it started growing on me,and now i actually really like it. No i'm not just saying i like said song because i didn't want to feel i've wasted money,i really have become quite fond of it,and the other 6 songs on here are very DUFFY and very good too. I could run through them all and use various superlatives or i could just save time and say i like every one of them,which i honestly do.
Of course i was annoyed after buying the original and then finding it was to be re-released with more tracks on another CD,but even so,i can't fault it. I'm glad i bought the deluxe edition,as i like DUFFY,and i'd say if tempted,buy and enjoy.

A great album made greater by the addition of some superb tracks on the bonus CD. (Check out 'Rain on Your Parade' and 'Please Stay') This is blindingly good value at seven quid and potentially worth buying even if you have the original single disk. If you do not have either then is is a MUST BUY CD.

Duffy has a great voice and with luck will be around for some time. The tracks on both disks are very well produced and the choice of songs shows off her exceptional talents.

Go on, buy it - and if you have the original - give it to your mum!

Brilliant CD, should have bought it a long time ago. Definately worth every penny!!
