Touched by the indifferent

I must say, the new Demons & Wizards album was a M-A-J-O-R disappointment. I red a lot of very good reviews and thought to give it a chance, as I like some of Iced Earth's works. But this cross between Blind Guardian and Iced Earth doesn't have any soul at all. The music is boring, the lyrics are lame and even the speedy parts are indifferent.
The only track I actually liked, was the slowly 'Seize the Day'.
Beware, Touched By The Crimson King is NOT all it is cranked up to be. The first album 'Demons & Wiards' are SO much better.
well worth the money

been meaning to check this side project out for a while, two fantastic creative minds together, producing great music.
it liturally is what you get when you throw the minds of iced earth and blind guardian together.
Galloping riffs. fantastic catchy lyrics and every song on the album is fantastic, really solid album with a great cover of Led Zeppelins "Immigrant song" which has been done in their own style.
well worth buying.
