a real let down, stantons worst yet. nothing like their usual pumping tunes !!
Totally crazy Volume! Different from the likes of Volume 2, but amazing! Each time I listen to it I find another song that I become addicted to. Had it for a month now and I'm still listening to it constantly. Well worth purchasing!
look...Stanton Warriors are a complete package - they're technically flawless and craft well thought out mixes that both captivate & entertain. they've been doing it for years and this mix is no exception.
This starts heavy and you're locked in after the neat slice from Club Action into Shifting Gears. From here it's a full throttle ride through some of the Warrior's latest new material plus some neat breakbeat (or 'bonus beat') re-works of current underground favourites ('Oh' by Boys Noize, 'Nifty' by Nifty (Basement Jaxx), Frankie Valli, Alan Braxe & Chemical Brothers).
the whole 74 minutes feels assured and polished. In short, this continues the impressive discography which further proves that as DJs and producers, Stanton Warriors are still a cut above.
PS: If you're really keen, search out the Stanton Sessions Vol 3 promo mix - it features a couple of the same tracks but also some breathtaking raw bass
