This cd arrived today and I felt compelled to give a more balanced review than the one above.
On the positive side, the 25 tracks reflect the familiar, classic Miller standards. The good thing is that they are on one cd, and not with some omitted like other "bargain" efforts. A word of warning: some (not all) of the recordings are live versions.
I agree with the other reviewer that the sound quality does not live up to the 21st century hyper-uber Hi-Fi super cd level that the modern listener has come to expect. However, the quality on this cd does posess a certain charm and warm texture that reeks of the time and zeitgeist of the original recordings. And to be honest, the tracks are not unlistenable! In essence this cd turns your cd player into a wireless.
So if you want to appear in a Waltons' episode, just after a rousing radio speech by FDR, and you're waiting for Yansey Tucker to pick you up to go to the Dew Drop Inn, then this collection is for you!
Finally, it's a bargain for £1.99 and a whole lot better than other Miller "bargain" cds (actually more expensive than this). And I should know, I've bought them!!

Poor quality, first tracks sounded like a vynil playing cracks and all. You pay for what you get I suppose. Can anyone suggest another album with same tracks in higher quality.
