In The Big Ending (CD & DVD)

I've always loved Skyclad, and this demo by Martin's more recent project The Clan Destined is just as good as Skyclad at their peak, if not better.

It's basically Skyclad minus the folk influence, which really wasn't that important a feature as much as you'd think so. What's great about this is two things, one the fact that every song is stupidly catchy and memorable and has become a timeless classic, and two that Martin's lyrics are still genius and thought-provoking. The two combined make an EP's length of music I can listen to over and over again and never get bored. When I first bought this I played at least once a day for a year and it still never got boring. One of the greatest pieces of heavy metal I've ever heard, and it's practically forgotten. Needs digging up, if you like infectious songwriting and serious messages delivered in a very intelligent way you owe it to yourself to find this.
