Excellent cd.
The Decemberists are one of those rare bands you will have heard, or heard of, without really being aware of it. Those who know them well will probably sing their praises long after they are gone.
Picaresque is their finest hour to date - Eli The Barrow Boy and The Mariner's Revenge Song are amazingly atmospheric tales.
