Top 100 Music Reviewer
At first i was rather sceptical about the sound of editors, but after a few listens i couldnt resist the elegant guitar riffs and exceptional vocals.
The lead singles bullets and munich are the stand out songs on the album which have dark lyrics and catchy tunes and guitar riffs. Even the slower tracks such as fall and camera i enjoyable to listen to. Ever song is rather unique and easy to tell apart and still enthralling to listen to, Its not boring, its not old and rather fresh considering the music business is dominated by indie and emo rock.
Anyone going to leeds or reading must listen to this album and then see editors live, you will not be disappointed
Awesome

I thought i'd never heard any of Editors music before, but when I bought this album( more due to the appeal of the price tag) I realised that I had heard some of their songs, I just hadn't really paid much attention to them because they're songs are not really grabbing or have much of a hook to them, this isn't a bad thing, but it isn't great either, I guess what i'm trying to sayis, it's a bargain for some samey sounding background music.
If you like REM, Morrissey or Joy Division this album will deffinately float your boat, "The Back Room" is packed with strong and bold sounding songs especially "Munich", which is the best of the tunes and also I think it deffinately makes this album just that little bit better than brilliant.
The only thing you will find however is the first part of the album is brilliant and you will love every song, but get further down that track listing and a lot of songs slow down and they don't really seem to get going, also quite a few songs sound the same as each other.
For £1.99 it makes me feel as if I'm wearing a balaclava buying this album, this is an absolute steal and you will not find an album this good at a cheaper price!!!
Superb

This is really a spell-binding album the whole way through, its kind of an album of two (obviously) halfs great throughout especially: Munich, Blood, Camera, 'Fingers...' Someone... and Bullets. When i bought this in 2006 it kept me going for ages and you can really tell a great album when you can still keep coming back to it two years later. Better than the second? Very possible...
how dare you???
