 EXCEPTIONAL

Here are the facts :

Beauty School, Risk and Royal are better than most of the songs on White Pony.

Most. Not better than Change in The House Of Flies, Passenger or Knife Party.

Is it a better album? Overall? I'm still undecided.

What I DO know is this is the sound of a band so in control of their destiny it's almost frightening!

Forget Adrenaline and even Around The Fur, this album is so complete in sound and direction it finally proves that the Deftones no longer have any peers!

They've balanced brutality, structure, melody, passion, precision and beauty in one heartfelt positive collection of songs. I always knew they were good, but this left me breathless!

Buy. Please buy!

 Their greatest album yet?

From what ive heard from this album already (which is most of them), I think Deftones may have quite possibly outdone themselves. This is quite a tall claim, which is why I say this as an avid listener of their previous albums. Some other fans may disagree with me because of the huge variety on the album but I believe it is this mixture of smashing guitar riffs and Chinos variety of screams and hypnotising choruses that shows how much the band has evolved from their previous albums. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is a fan or even if they are thinking of becoming one as they will be pleasantly surprised.

 Back with a bang!

Best album since White Pony, with sounds of that and Around The Fur thrown in. Kicks off with 'Diamond Eyes', which is a great opener, and carries on to 'Rocket Skates', which crowds the world over will love to be a part of. 6/5

 Energetic tones power!!

eagerly awaiting this album,i was so pleased it packed a lot of punch. these songs include the melodic vocals and heavy riffs the tones are famous for and this album must buy for any deftones fan.

 Faultless.

This album is perfect. It sounds polished but has brought back the edginess of Deftones early albums. This album is perfect for hardcore deftones fans or people who want to get into Deftones music.
