King Blues - Save The World....

I'd never heard of King Blues until I saw them supporting Rancid. At first I was a bit pessimistic, I thought "Great, another bad ska band" but I was so impressed with the songs and the sheer energy that they displayed, that I bought their second album on the way out.
Fantastic album, some excellent songs, some soppy songs, but even they're good. I found the stand out track to be "If Punk Never Happened", but "Hang The Landlord", "Save the World...." and "These Streets are Ours" will have you singing these songs for days afterwards. If you like conscientious music then The King Blues may be the band for you, mixing soulful beats, unmistakeably ska riffs and Itch's cheeky chappy way of writing/singing these are definately a band to watch out for.
Oh if you get the chance, see them live! 5/5!

This album is without a doubt my favourite album of all time. It is the perfect blend of politics and the king blues almost trademark reggae/punk/folk sound. It is unique and creative and i would recommend it to anyone. "What if punk never happened" is lyrical genius. Itch is one brilliant man.
Amazing Album

Another great album from the King Blues. With the release of their first album, Under The Fog, they set a pretty high standard for themselves from the start, however this album easily exceeds those standards making it one of the best albums released this year!
