ACM Gospel Choir

This is good, & showcases the choir's vocal strength, but I agree with the earlier reviewer - the 'zing' of their live performances is just not there, and I really miss it. Which is a real pity, because this CD just doesn't do justice to the brilliance of this choir.

If it was only possible to put together all their live performances from Last Choir Standing... I'd put my order in straight away!

Brilliant on TV, lifeless here :(

After watching them on Last Choir Standing I was really looking forward to their CD coming out.

When they performed live on the show they were amazing and performed and sang like theyre lives depended on it, this does not come across on the CD. On the show the performance of Bob Marleys 'One Love' was outstanding and made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, the version on the CD is so much more reserved and in my opinion is not half as good. Surely people would want to buy the CD because of the way they sang on the tv show, so why change it.
Also I noticed on the show they sang Eternals 'I Wanna Be The Only One', another brilliant performance but this is not on the CD.

All in all the singing sounds very pleasant....but on the tv show they were more than pleasant....they were amazing which is why I am disapointed. I did not get the same feel good factor from listening to this CD than I did watching them on tv.
