4.5 Definitive Prodigy Collection baconburger | 09/08/2007 | See all baconburger's reviews (35) This is an essential buy for all Prodigy fans, and provides a great introduction for new listeners, although it's hard to imagine anyone hasn't heard of controversial songs such as "Firestarter" and "Smack My Bitch Up". The first disc includes a good selection of classic singles including a new versions of "Voodoo People" and "Spitfire" and a remix of "Poison" that I hadn't heard before. The second disc includes live versions of favourite tracks eg "Firestarter", "Serial Thrilla", "Spitfire", and the brilliant "Their Law", and some great remixes such as Pendulum's version of "Voodoo People" and a slightly reworked "Under My Wheels" which I think is superior to the original album version. In fact the only dodgy track across the two discs is the Audio Bullys' remix of "Out Of Space" - everything else is sheer class. Buy some bigger speakers then buy this album!
