Gogol Bordello was a band that I saw randomly at Reading Festival - then I came home and bought the first album I saw - this was it. And It was brilliant! So often in music at the moment it's all doom & gloom: people just don't seem happy with anything. Not Gogol Bordello! The music can be ferocicously fast and tenderly slow - but mostly it just brims with 'happy-feel-good' vibes!

Brillaint stuff and this album is a must for your collection as it contains "wearing Purple" - which is kind of a flagship song for them. You won't be disappointed!

I didnt really know what to expect this album when i first got it, but by the time i had heard the first song i was enjoying it. The record is full of really enjoyable songs, with a unique folk-punk sound. Most importantly, it's fun! The songs are real foot stompers, and the pace doesnt let up. If you by this, you wont be dispappointed!

Great for listening to in a happy mood! Kinda has a pub music theme:P Must listen to it but not too much or you will get bored!

This album is fantastic every song has riff's, rhythms, and crazy beats, from beginning to end this album is an experiance that will leave you wanting more and more. The first song Sally is so fast and powerful it will make you want to jump on a stage and jump off as far into the air as possible into a massive crowd of people, then there is Immigrant Punk, Not A Crime, which will also have the same effect.

You have to be open minded when you listen to Gogol as there material can be very different, which if you have the East Infection CD you will notice.

Also Eugene Hutz (Lead Singer) is big part of the band,
his style is unique and intresting and he also has great acting skills (Everything Is Illuminated) is a cracking film.
