This is my review for Xzibit's first and second albums.
'At the Speed of Life' is a very good debut album. In my opinion, on this album Xzibit is as lyrically skilled as other rappers such as Tupac, Biggie, Nas, Eminem and others. It also has some good producers on it aswell to match with the great lyrics.
I liked '40 Dayz and 40 Nightz', although I would say I prefer 'At the Speed of Life', this is because when I listened to it I felt that there was something about it that just wasn't as good as his first album. It was still a good album as I say.
Overall, here are some great albums from Xzibit and if I had to choose between the two, then I would definately choose 'At the Speed of Life'. You can buy the albums seperately which would cost more, where as you can buy them in this great 2CD slipcase for only £6.99, so you're better off buying them in this slipcase in the long run as it will save you money.
2 Xzibit albums for the price of one! Bargain Gangsta Rap

For anyone who has only seen Xzibit on "Pimp My Ride", he really is a bad boy!
Both these albums have really funky beats of the type you can imagine the boys listen to in "Boyz in the Hood". At the speed of life is really good with a couple of classics on there and again some real OG beats! Also a bit of an insight into Xzibit himself.
A must have for any real Hip Hop heads, and as I said in the title - 2 badass albums for the price of 1!
