A brillant selection of trance music with a very individual style.
While I make it perfectly clear that I love Leftfield's music, this collection gets 4 stars rather than 5 purely because of the songs chosen.
Some may beg to differ, but in my opinion this album pays too much attention to the success of 'Leftism' and not enough on the 'Rhythm and Stealth' album, the latter of which I thought was the more superior LP. OK so it included 'Dusted', 'Phat Planet', 'Afrika Shox' and 'Swords', but I felt that tracks such as 'El Cid' and 'Rinos Prayer' were worthy of inclusion also.
Nevertheless, this collection is still very good, but ironically after purchasing this I still listen more to 'Rhythm and Stealth' than I do to this collection. Thankfully the inclusion of the DVD of Leftfield's music videos prevented this from being a waste of money - with the videos for 'Afrika Shox' and 'Swords' being the highlights for me personally.
