- Follow-up to 2003's American Life from pop-queen Madonna. Co-written and primarily co-produced by Madonna and Stuart Price, the album was recorded in London. Experimenting with an array of electronic dance beats and samples, this offering strays away from her usual straight pop sound. The single 'Hung Up' is included.

This is by far her best album it is soo beaulitfully produced and it all fits together perfectly.
Hard Candy does not even measure up to this although it is a good album.
There is not a dull song on this album. the album is perfect its an album where you can sing along to everyone song and also dance to everyone.
I recommend this to everyone, brilliant.
I 'Confess' a great album

Maddy never ceases to inspire me. This album is no exception. Although I feel it's at a completely opposite end of the spectrum to American Life, it has all the makings of a classic (as most Madonna albums seem to end up). A Maddy album you can dance to - without the 80's cheese of 'get into the groove' (not knocking it, just grown up a bit since then!), with the more personal songs she likes to throw in there - Push/Like It Or Not - and no sign of her 'mother' in the lyrics for a refreshing change. It's of course a MUST album for all Madonna fans and I am eagerly awaiting the release of Hard Candy - which I'm sure won't disappoint either.
slick album-a return to form!!

all the tracks link very well and all songs on this album are as slick as hell.
i cant find my favourite track here as they're all as good as each other.
MADONNA is back on the dancefloor peeps.
after i was disappointed with american life(not the song thats great but the album as a whole)with only die another day and hollywood as other good tracks and the rest fell down.
this is a return to form and i hope HARD CANDY will be similar to this...it has every right to be.
it would have been better if she did disco tracks of her original songs (vogue, erotica, like a virgin etc) on this album rather than just on the live album/i feel like getting that soon if the price comes down a lil bit.
keep goin madge you're AWESOME!!!
