I liked "Magic" and this new album has grown on me after a few listens. It is a fine album with many great songs and very contrasting sounds.Lyrically as ever Bruce is untouchable. He just defines the characters and lets you inside to look at them for 3 minutes or so a record. Hard to pick a favourite but "Working on a Dream" and the fantastic" Queen of the Supermarket" are two that spring to mind. That said the others tracks are all good and nice to see another 8 minute classic in " Outlaw Pete" and the beautiful " Last Carnival".If your already a Springsteen fan then you know what to expect but if your not - well isn't it about time you were!! Mr. Bruce Sringsteen is writing great stuff these days and I can't wait to see him and the E Street Band in Hyde Park this summer.
