A magnificently creative first album......

............which sounds like a 60's film soundtrack. I like to imagine South of France, a convertible, man behind the wheel and woman with a scarf driving the Corniche!
This my favourite album from Alison Goldfrapp, haunting and poignant.
Occasionally I think she lapses into bathos - but I forgive her since this is a rookie album and she's allowed to make mistakes.
A real joy.
